Dunno, really. It seemed a good idea at the time – but any domain name you have to spell out over the phone is a failure, as is any that you have to explain. Bizarrely, I’ve got attached to it, as it does suggest something about my ambitions that I’m only just beginning to realise.
I’ve been a web developer in London/Cambridge for the last 10 years, with the last couple focusing predominantly on Actionscript projects. I’ve also been griping about project management and process for a long time, and have a collection of useful thoughts about that, which have added value for a number of clients over the last few years.
I’ve been studying Aikido for over 16 years, and revel in the challenge of putting the principles found in that art into every other aspect of my life. I believe that Aikido provides one with enough stability to risk being open and vulnerable, thus engaging our creative and intuitive skills.
As father to two wonderful girls, I’m enjoying their early years immensely, and find myself wondering about ways to bring the learnings of Aikido to children (and adults) in a more direct way.
Whilst this blog isn’t about Aikido, over time I suspect that I will have more to say about daily life, how and what we learn as children, and what we can do as adults to give kids the best start.
